The cover features my artistic interpretation of the ideas explored in this issue. The illustration invokes a retrofuturistic aesthetic to create an almost impish humanoid avatar shown having access to various datasets, codes, and personal information. The avatar personifies the various technological and scientific advances that are often exploited for profit at the expense of human rights, health, safety, and even lives.
